Outsourcing is one of methods Assignment construction project in the oil and gas industry of the country. Failure to select of contractors is one of the factors responsible for failure of projects time and cost and quality expectations is considered the employer. Contractors are evaluated using the default criteria. Due to the complexity of the oil and gas projects, it is necessary to identify and evaluate the contractor selection criteria according to the nature of these projects. The aim of this paper is to identify the criteria that influence the selection of construction contractors at Zagros Oil and Gas Company. For this purpose, the data were collected through library research, documentation and effectiveness criteria of the current legislation and interviews with experts selected construction Contractor Company in South Zagros Oil and Gas was detected. Then, weighting of the criteria was done by using information collected through questionnaire and SWARA method. The results showed that the criteria for similar projects, the executive team, the skill of the effective staff, the suggested price and bank credit, were ranked first to fifth. It is hoped that the results of this research will be used in the selection of contractors in the South Zagros Company by using new multi-criteria decision making methods.
