Probabilistic analysis has gradually replaced certain analysis and design of structures. Due to the stochastic nature of various parameters (including loads, material properties), probabilistic analysis seems more realistic. In practice, it is difficult to identify suitable probability distributions as inputs for the probabilistic analysis and design of structures. Due to the great importance of concrete structures and the need to study the behavior of these structures under earthquakes, in this study, the reliability of these structures is evaluated with the help of various probabilistic methods. For this purpose, different concrete frames with different heights are considered and their performance is simulated as series, parallel or mixed systems. To investigate the effect of probability distribution on the safety of structures in a probabilistic approach, Normal, Log Normal, Gamma, Beta, Generalized limit and Rayleigh probability distributions are used for geometric parameters such as load and strength and statistical calculations are performed with MATLAB software. The results show that the use of analytical methods in many applied problems is not accurate enough and the need to use simulation-based methods is felt. Also, the probability distribution of random parameters has played an important role in estimating the reliability of concrete structures and determining the best probability distribution for random parameters is essential.
